PROTEM SAS is established in Etoile sur Rhone, ideally located in the valley of the Rhone.
The TGV station is accessible in 20 minutes, the access to A7 motorway is carried out in less than 10 minutes and the International airport of LYON St Exupéry can be reached in less than one hour. (see address and plan of access)and welding for industries as diverse as nuclear power, weapons systems, petro-chemical, semi conductor and aerospace.
PROTEM SAS is the industrial partner of its customers for projects for applications in the fields of nuclear power, conventional power plants, of aeronautics, food, chemical and petrochemical, of semi conductor, oil and gas etc..
PROTEM SAS : two complementary trades:
Created initially to develop portable bevelling machines (range S, SE, US), PROTEM quickly extended its product range to the portable machines to cut and bevel tubes (range TT, TTS, TNO), with the machines to surface flanges (range ASB, ACC), with the machines to cut and/o bevel the stationary tubes (range MF, CTA, BB, TNO). Its activity is also directed towards the design and the manufacture of special machines for bevelling and welding.

PROTEM is also featured by its capacity to develop special machines according to the specific technical needs expressed by its customers. PROTEM thus designed more than 500 special machines since its creation.

- All are used successfully by our customers and partners in the whole world. Certain applications require operations carried out remotely. With this intention, PROTEM designs and carries out special programs fulfilling the expressed requirements. The processes available when designing a specific welding machine are: TIG, MIG, MAG, GTAW, LASER, NARROW GAP, PLASMA etc. Our engineers and research departments put their competences and their experience at the service of our customers and partners.
